Landscape art works created using a camera, landscape photography is a style which shows off the natural beauty of the world we live in.
Most landscape photos are taken early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the light is more favourable, however there are exceptions to the rule. Unusual atmospheric conditions mid-day often produce stunning results also.
With the natural world fast giving way to development, particularly in costal areas, Mark endeavors at every available opportunity to document coastal landscapes as and when he comes across them, even if the light source is not perfect.
Not all photos in this portfolio could be considered purist landscapes as some have evidence of human activity, however they are no less spectacular. Often the human elements, when included add to the story told by the image.
